CONSUL has never been prepared to compromise on matters of quality. In order to guarantee the precision, the reliability, the good execution and the robustness of CONSUL products, C-E. Virchaux had a large number of watches controlled by the official authorities of the Canton of Neuchâtel at the astronomy observatories of Neuchâtel and Le Locle.
Reassured by the results obtained over the years, it was decided from 1946 to submit the whole of CONSUL's production to official control. While other brands were happy with a "good" or even "adequate" result, 92% of CONSUL watches obtained the mention "particularly good result".
The list of the many mentions, diplomas, certificates and observatory prizes presented to CONSUL over the years is especially impressive.
